      ... playing a familiar tune, I look over and the head chef comes out and starts singing happy birthday with the harp player THEN all the other people staying and working at the hotel joined in all singing happy birthday to me. They then presented me with a hand made ornament and wished me another happy birthday. I got up and bowed to all the staff thanking all of them.       ... Stock for getting me in at the last minute for a jab in the shoulder joint. I didn't want to say anything during the holiday in case I jinxed myself but after 3 weeks of no improvement in the shoulder, I thought that my snowboarding experience was going to be seriously limited but in the end, after the cortisone, it was like back to new and up to taking a hammering once more.       ... Kogan. Yours truly forgot the avalanche beacon which delayed our start up as Lars had to go back to get it.       ... I fell first turn. Now that was over we had some great runs down the bowl, through the trees to the bottom of the run and then did it again using the lifts. Finished off with hot coffee from the machines and later out for a traditional dinner.
