In fact, at the beginning, I was defiantly more scared of them as they would walk by you with their fur brushing upon my skin. At the park there is a hot spring bath for the monkeys, which they use more in the winter. It was really cute to watch one baby monkey trying to teach himself how to swim. ... also marked with red and pink ribbons so it's nearly impossible to get lost. But the snow is very weak at some point and so i fell through quite a lot, with a brown muddy shoe as a result. I also fell flat on my face a couple of times because the snow makes the walkway very slippery. I also tripped over branches a couple of times, resulting in a few bruises.

The hike became a bit easier as i walked around laze Ozenuma, although the snow was still very frustrating ...

... how i liked Japan (absolutely love it!!!). The busride took about 45 minutes and then there was a transfer to a smaller local bus which took me up to the pass. There was only one other passenger on the bus heading the same way as me.
