Today we drove over the other Islands (Innoshima Island and Mukaishima Island) in the direction of Onomichi. First of all we visited the Kosan-ji Temple, which have extremely beautiful dragons. In the temple is also a marmorpark with white marmor from Italy.
In Onomichi we took the next bus back to Imabari.

Mr. Suzuki is beginning to almost talk confidently about our chances to leave on time tomorrow. He also told me that he is quite impressed with how well-behaved our students are compared to his students. I told him I think its a matter of perspective, I am always impressed with how easily Japanese teachers interact with their students. However, I can honestly say I am impressed with how well our students are acting.

Typhoon Guchol Update
... has even lowered the threat of rain to 90%.
No one has called to tell me a school has cancelled and considering the current conditions, I'd be surprised if a school closed. I should mention that a new tropical storm Talim has formed in the South China Sea and looks like its going to skirt pass Japan's west coast about a two days behind Guchol. It really weak, but it is expected to bring more heavy rain later, this week. I hope everyone brought a sturdy umbrella.
