... behind the temple was just as impressive, with an aged stepping stone path winding through the ancient bamboo trees. Next stop was lunch at a small local restaurant, where we tried chicken eggy rice and wonton noodle soup. ... and a large bowl of rice filled me up nicely. Imagine my surprise then when I read the bill and it was $5.20 for my meal. Veronica ordered a tempura and udon noodle set, which was far more expensive at nearly $8. The Cooney cousins met up in Tokyo last night for some serious fun. We started the evening at this place called The English Hub. They served up half off cocktails and beer until 7pm.
