... around and headed into the first place that seemed like it had decent enough food. We got some excellent food in and headed towards our AirBnB apartment, picking up some chocolate on the way there.

I found a funny looking ball there, and I had no idea what was in it, seeing as my reading skills don’t extend as far as Japanese.

Sendai

... the Japanese tour guide was talking about. We walked around one of the islands accessible by a small bridge and sat on the cliff enjoying the view. And we read the signs advising where to run (up!) when the next tsunami hits. The next day we were back in Sendai preparing for takeoff, which takes hours of visiting different places in the airport getting papers signed and stamped. And then the next day is actual departure.

Samurai Houses and a paradise bay

We left the Onsen in the morning and went back to Kakunodate to visit the Samurai houses. At the station you can always leave the baggage in coin lockers, so we could make the walk through the town in a more relaxed way.

Unfortunately it was pouring rain that we became wet - even with the umbrellas and were happy to get inside these samurai houses. They are very big, some of them even free of charge to visit

Had our las two shows of Sendai today, the audience was great in both of them, maintaining the energy towards the pre show that all of the previous shows had. Tonight, Lennea, Chris, Brittany and myself went for dinner and to buy some last minute supplies for our trip to Mount Fuji tomorrow ...

... in the audience, when normally the building would seat 6000 people, it currently only has about 20 in it. another downside of this, is that the building staff have not turned the air conditioning on in the building yet, other than our change rooms, so when we are out on the ice in full costume under show lights, it get very very hot and sweaty with the humidity here in Japan.
