Seoul Inns - Reviews and Rates

We had a briefing and lecture by a representative of the Army
Community Relations/Information today. He said that there
were a lot of cases of the flu or flu like symptoms. He thought that the visit
planned for today might be available for us if they reopen on Tuesday.
More as we know.

After the church picnic I went to back to my homestay. 종국 (the host family son) and I had planned on going to see a movie, but he was too tired to do that. So, I piddled around and then decided to go out and take pics. He decided to join me, so we spent an hour or so just walking around the neighborhood looking for interesting pics...

Right now, I'm just sitting with my host family and watching TV. If you have never watched Korean TV, it is very different :) I'll include a few videos here :)

WOW !! It's 2:20am west coast time, and we just arrived in Seoul. I have yet to change my watch to local time, which is 7:30pm. We have one hour stop to stretch our legs and to try out the lounge and their computers. We are very much enjoying the famous Singapore Air business class service. The best we have ever encountered. This is the best way to spend our Air Miles, for sure! The seats go down like a bed, multicourse meals and start off with champagne! On toSingapore!

Our first day in Korea at Mr. & Mrs. Kim's house. They lived in the district of Amsa, near the Olympic Stadium.

Today we explored downtown Seoul and the Ancient Palace ( the Koreans are proud of that one). It was beautiful , and ancient. Totally worth a visit, Seoul surprised us with it's easy of transport, there were loads of sights to see and places to go. Seoul is a great stop-over destination. Interesting food, busy yet clean streets and lots of hustle and bustle.
