Today it was 97 here so we went to Lake Powell National Park. It was very nice there. Got to do some 4 wheeling. Then on the way back we drove some desert roads in the Grand Staircase Esclante National Monument

Today we went to the Grand Canyon. It as beautiful. We hiked for over 4 miles. We saw 3 mule deers that we were able to get real close to. Plus some kind of lizard.

We pulled out of the Grand Canyon on our way back to Utah. We were originally going to go up over highway ALT 89 through Jacob Lake but we were advised that it was a difficult road and we were advised to go Hwy 89 through Page and then onto Kanab. On this route we passed the Vermillion Cliffs which is the location that they release the condors. ...
