Thurs 1 March Weather overcast yet again in Rotorua, so decided to head up towards Auckland. Styeph tried out her leg by driving for an hour up the highway. The leg is slowly improving, but not yet ready for any serious walking challenge. Drove through Hamilton, Manukau and then on to the N W Motorway in an attempt to pick up the concert tickets...

Got in at 2am. Stayed in a hostel near the airport and it was lovely. Just like a hotel!!! I had a double bed room (with two singles as well lol) and kitchen, free coffee and tea and shower. But only got to enjoy it for 6 hours. Then back to the airport, domestic this time.

There's a man with one leg pacing up and down every now and again, many of the programs are in Japanese, and there are lots of empty liquor bottles hanging in odd places.
