We had a lovely lunch in a Restaurant near the river, a HUGE plate called a Vegetarian Feast.
No Need to describe the biological effects of all that roughage on the 'Evans constitution! The air Pollution above Austria has multiplied overnight!

... Apparently this bridge also has CK’s highest number of suicide jumps. The gardens are long and narrow, with views down to the river and town, and there is a revolving auditorium about half way along where they often have plays and concerts, and at the end a huge pond with lily pads, enclosed by trees. It was the perfect time of the afternoon, and the sunlight shone like diamonds through the trees around the pond. We sat for some time enjoying the peace and beauty. On the way ...

... Vienna to Ceske Budejovice and once on the platform an elderly gentleman must have thought we were lost and checked our tickets for us. He suggested we catch the train with him one station away so we could board at the first stop and have plenty of time to get our seats and store our bags.

Why not we thought so followed him on to the train. Upon arrival at the next station he showed us the train we needed to get, he laughed at us in our thongs, we laughed at ...

... Ceske Budejovice was pretty straight forward-- huge town square along a nice river with quaint little buildings. The book made it sound pretty boring, but it was absolutely beautiful. We arrived right at sunset, so we got some really neat reflection pictures at the river. We ate dinner at a traditional Czech place that only had menus in Czech and German (ugh), so we had to try and figure out the German menu. ...
