We had seen the Minidoka National Monument on the map so decided to check it out. It is a national historical site where during the Japanese internment during WWII, 13,000 people were sent there to work. It was very sobering to visit.

We also snoped around some of the local neighborhoods. Who would not want to live here - some of the most lush landscaped lawns ever!

Theatre Night - Other Desert Cities - at The Liberty Theatre in Hailey ID. The play's subject matter was pretty intense, but the actors did a great job. Enjoyed.
Sun Valley is lovely!

An easy day of travel, from Garden City Utah to Ketchum Idaho. We saw lots of farm country and assumed the fields of crops were Idaho potatoes? Happy Hour upon arrival.
The Ketchum area is Idaho's Sun Valley and the Sawtooths. Our campground is not much but okay. Picture is Steve Seitz doing a great job of backing in to his site - pretty close to us.
Never imagined I’d like or spend so much time in Idaho. Staying with Jane probably made all the difference. She lives in the quant town of Hailey which seems to specialize in connecting it’s residents with nature.
Our first day there, we were taken on a very impromptu yet ultra appreciated white water rafting adventure down the Salmon River. We went with Jane and her friends - who had their own equipment and were experienced rafters. ...
