    Had just what we needed for a one night stay. Beds were comfortable, but the bathroom was a little small. It was the cheapest place in Zurich so it was worth the value

    ... on the bridge, a young couple asked me to take some photos of them with the river and buildings in the background. It turned out the guy was Swiss and his girlfriend was from Holland. They also took a photo of me. I stopped and visited with them for a few minutes, and he gave me approximate directions to get back to the main station (Hauptbahnhof). I had a Map with me but forgot my GPS in the Hotel, so it was nice to get directions from a "local".

    When we got back to their apartment in the evening we had cheese fondue which was delicious and filling after fighting with the river all day. We decided to leave that night because their other roommate was coming home and we had nowhere to sleep. So we said our goodbyes not knowing when we would see them again and caught the train back to Nonnenhorn. It was 11:30pm before we got back and we both collapsed out of exhaustion

    Zurich: It takes about two hours to get to Zurich and I let myself sleep in and so didn’t catch a train until 10 and got to Zurich around noon.     ARRIVED from Paris

    took an early train and arrived around 2:00. skated to a couchsurfers house (sam) and dropped my bag, then went went out walking for a few hours around the city, which wasn't too big. very nice and clean.
