Had just what we needed for a one night stay. Beds were comfortable, but the bathroom was a little small. It was the cheapest place in Zurich so it was worth the value

Arriving at the central station I walked along the river to get to my hostel which was located at a very nice pedestrians area with a lot of bars and restaurants. To end the day I took a short walking around the area and found my way into a cute traditional restaurant (and one on the cheaper ones but still ...

Joe was a WWII vet, he was the mailman, and he was my surrogate grandpa who wore sweet plaid golf pants. Our path went from Tirano to St. Moritz, St. Moritz to Chur and then Chur to Zurich. All in all we were on trains just shy of 7 hours today...

... perfect way to keep us awake too. We wondered the old town, the squares, the river banks and the churches. Dad got to see his stained glass windows, we got to see Zurich sights and sounds. We found a great market close to the lake with great plants, flowers, cheeses, fruit, vegetables and cold meats. We went to the lake after the walk and found a restaurant for lunch with a view of the lake and the mountains - heavenly. We all had ...
