Today we left the buzz of the city and throngs of tourists behind and headed for the hills. Five hours later we settled in a lovely little town high in the alpine with a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and valley below. And yes, the water was ...

If the awesome sleep experienced was anything to go by, then
the previous day’s walk was definitely worthwhile.

onto a bus and headed out to a spot on the Julier Pass. From here we headed
straight uphill for 4 and a half hours to the top of the Fuorcla D’ Agnel Pass
which lies at an altitude of 2984 meters. The wind was screaming and it was
trying to rain. However the rain was turning to ice and we nearly ...

... as they were kind enough to allow us to use
the cable car to get to the top of the mountain first.

As always the scenery was stunning and even though we were
treated to a few drops of rain the excursion was great.

The afternoon was spent watching Stef hard at work teaching
people to kiteboard after which we did some shopping before going for supper at
    Stef’s house.
