      Juliet says the team arrived safely last night in Kampala after an 'adventurous' journey. Think of them today as they adjust to the heat and the culture. Today is planned to be a 'going to Church' day before they start work tomorrow.       Great news - thanks to Simon's persistence we heard last night that we are being given some HIV and malaria test kits by a friendly supplier. This has gone right to the wire as the kits are being delivered on Friday (tomorrow) i.e the day before most of the team departs fro Uganda!

      ... booked in to do the flying experience (sans plane), so whilst we enjoyed a lunch with Nanny, Grandpa, Rosie, Brody and Marni, Matt ate his quickly and went for his flying lesson. The rest of us turned up just to watch. It was great fun watching, there were groups of fliers and each had a minute turn in the wind tunnel...Matt did really well and went for an additional go at the end. Well done, Babe....whats next?

      Breakfast with Helen who was very interested in discussing Crossthwaite family history....am finding out that Fred is identical to his dad, Fred sr...in humour and looks....after all he was the eldest of 6! And his sister and brother are humorous too in a lesser degree! All very much alike even though they don't keep in touch!
