CORK-MANCHESTER-CLAYTON WEST - DAY 12
Early rise, breakfast and drop off rental in good time for the Aer Lingus flight at 1100. This turned out quite bumpy as we came over UK. It seemed odd that my passport was not checked at all.
Picked up a new Peugeot 207 Diesel...nice but things started going a little awry at this point
... br> At the beginning of December we will cross (hopefully from Northern Thailand) into Laos. We'll have 30 days to explore as much as we can before crossing into Cambodia, for roughly the month of February. Then it's in to Vietnam.
We then plan to head south through Malaysia to Indonesia. Then....we'll let you know!

A month since my last post so time for a quick update. Flights are booked (cue fanfare). Four are now set in stone with just the Rio > London one left to bring up to the correct dates. What this means is that we can now start planning for real. So, we have 3 days in Iceland, 39 days in the US and Canada, 3 days in Costa Rica and perhaps 40 days in Brazil. Thats a grand total of 85 days; a week short of 3 months.
Next step is to start booking ...
Today we had a big day out. It started with a shopping trip to the outlet shopping center just down the road from Andrew & Jo's place.
