    ... on and off which made it a little annoying trying to view all of the sites, but it was a typical London day so it was good to get an authentic experience. Westminster Abby was breathtaking; the enormity of the church and the architecture inside was just amazing. This was by far the highlight of the day.     ... turned 21 so they invited us to join them for a Royal portrait. After we posed with our favourite stars we hopped back on the bus and travelled back to our hotel. Tune in tomorrow when we go to the Harry Potter Museum. Giggles will tell you all about it since she’s a Harry Potter expert. Now we are off to eat dinner in London. Ta Ta for now.

    ... of trouble. Adult ones were too big and the largest child size was too small, but we eventually found one.

    Finished off with a pint / wine in a pub just off Trafalgar Square before heading back to Croydon.

    Pete was anxious to cook pizza in his newly finished pizza oven. He makes his own bases, and the end result was very nice.

    Use your brain to think, please:
    If the station at the underground has a lift and everyone is waiting in line for the lift to go to ground level, it's probably not because Londoners are lazy and refuse to climb stairs. It may be because the station is fifteen stories underground. Please read signs more carefully before endeavoring to climb 175 steps while in a rush.

    ... come into the courtyard. The band played a few tunes as they waited for their replacements. They didn’t have to wait very long as more soldiers came in from the gatehouse. After some more ceremonies the last of the old guards left and the new guards took their places on the walls. It was all a very impressive display.
