    ... through the Rhododendrons but...when we came to the trail to the summit of Little Monadnock Mountain, of course we took it!! Even though today was suppose to be a recovery day from our big hike yesterday & a long day trip across Vermont & the sw corner of Massachusetts & hike on the Appalachian Trail! Oh Well....it was a great hike & a gorgeous view of the New Hampshire mountains!!

    We are going to really enjoy exploring New Hampshire!

    After driving most of the way in the rain, yesterday we arrived at Hinsdale, New Hampshire, just across the river from Vermont.

    Today, we drove over to Jacksonville, VT to the Honora Winery and Vineyard tasting room. They produce a collection of several nice whites, one regional dry red, and three reds from fruit grown in California. The regional red was not too bad, and the other reds were very good. Their Syrah won a gold ...

    ... 9:48 as we left Lower Main and the speedometer was at 17,325. Gloria and I drove Dad's blue jeep to drop off at Chris Howe's shop...he's the one who graciously let us take his truck instead of Dad's (why I'm still uncertain!) While the camper was on parked on the side of the road and Gloria and I drove past it and then past it again... it drew the attention of local authorities.
