    ... cap. At first we didn't realize he was an officer, however he carried a side arm and tazer. We approached him and I asked if he'd mind if I took a photo. Andrew introduced himself as a police officer and asked about the uniform. The Officer explained that the pants and cap were a form of protest across a number of government agencies against the City wanting to cut retirement pensions.

    Today was a good day exploring Vermont. We saw lots of great covered bridges. Designed like this to stop the bridges getting icy and also to preserve their longevity.     A motel breakfast like all the others - runny waffles, non-browning toast, solid butter, undefined milk and muffins. The fruit was good though and plentiful.
