The grass on the tee box was three inches high, there were large tufts of grass in the bunkers, the bunker rakes were tiny with large gaps between the teeth, the fairways looked like they had cabbage growing in them, and the grass on the greens was as thick and high as we've ever seen it. And we haven't mentioned yet the ground hogs that were everywhere.
At Cobblestone, our home course, we have geese, lots of them. ...
... just too expensive. So we took a few Dale's Pale Ales with us and they went great with the chicken/bacon/cheese/tomato/jalapeno pizza...yeehaw!
The evening brought a champagne celebration for Keith and Kendra to the deck of the house the kids rented at Seaside Park. Kendra's mom, Marty, cooked up some delicious kabobs on the grill and a great time was had by all!

... and the new family on the deck of the beach house, then toasting the beautiful sunset on the bay. The kids all had a great time finding clam shells before their parents took them crabbing. We missed out on the crabbing because we had a puppy we needed to tend to so we headed back to the campground.
