Our room was clean and well equipped with a kitchen etc. Right beside the lagoon, it was perfect for the two girls. The small town of Aiirlie is perfect for what we wanted and well positioned for taking the Barrier Reef tours.

... were lighting up the sky. With our friends from Kimi and Lynn and Paul we finished the evening in good company on the back of our boat.
We awoke to almost no wind and leaving the other Rivieras behind we made our way from Shag Islet back to Hamilton Island, stopping to avoid some whales on the way. There we met our daughter Stephanie who flew in from wintry Sydney and had our final cruise dinner with Lynn and Paul before they return to the Gold Coast.

Then after a brief 10 minute climb you descend onto the soft white silica sand that you can polish your best jewelery with. Still suffering a little from the cold I got Cycling in Rain one Day in Sydney.... but hopefully it will go away snorkelling Tomorrow. Climbed up an Hill and watched the beautiful Sunset.....will have a bottle of Robittussin which hopefully takes care of the coughing ...
