Our room was clean and well equipped with a kitchen etc. Right beside the lagoon, it was perfect for the two girls. The small town of Aiirlie is perfect for what we wanted and well positioned for taking the Barrier Reef tours.

... a walk around the island first stopping at the cafe for a bit of lunch and then taking the Rainforest trail through the middle of the Island. There are quite a few Wallabies on the island and I think I can just about tell the difference between Kangaroos and Wallabies. I thought wallabies were a smaller but here in Oz they are actually quite big. Next was the fish feeding session and everyone laughing at me because I couldn't hold the ...

... annoying!) We picked up another hire car at Brisbane airport (our transport to Sydney) and are loving our road tripping. It's really lovely being under our own steam. The drive to Noosa from Brisbane was a couple of hours and really fun singing and chatting the whole way. Monsieur slept which was Bon. It's been really interesting driving and seeing just how much space and land there is, its vast. Properties are on such big plots of land and generally one storey high, ...
