... were picking her up to go to the beach with them. Irene, Keith and Michelle came downstairs to wish her well. It was sad to say goodbye to her as we have really become quite good friends in the short time we have been on the tour. I don't think it will be the last time I see her.

The four of us then went to dinner down on River Street again but made it a reasonably early night as we are going to Orlando ...

... br> Our hotel is located at Ellis Square which is right in the heart of the city and just across the road from the river. Brilliant!! We can walk everywhere around town and if not, we have got a free ticket from the trolley tour to use for the rest of today and all tomorrow.


The trolley tour was seriously hot so we went back to the hotel to shower and change before going out for dinner.

... Plane was late and then we sat on Tarmac for an hour. Weather is going to be iffy all week with intermittent rain and thunderstorms and its HUMID!!!! i guess off shoots of storms in the south . Fired off a few pics before it got dark. Tomorrow is our walking tour then Kim and I will go for "low country boil". It's been 2 days of travelling. let the a vacation ...

... of the quiet serenity that seemed to blanket the city, and soon after I had crawled into bed Kasia returned from her dinner and tour to tell me how much fun they had as well.

We both fell asleep content with our last night in Savannah, and I think Monica put it best when she updated her Facebook status with "...I'm not gonna use the "L" word cause we're super new and I don't want to scare you off, but this is getting real serious real fast."

... homestyle southern cooking. Yummy. Mrs. Wilkes is great value for the money at $40 for the four of us. Ghosts and ghost stories are big here. Hauntings in Savannah are an all too common happening. Why do you think there are so many ghost tour companies here in Savannah seeking for the ghosts which haunt the streets and buildings? Savannah is sooo haunted. War, famines, disease outbreaks, natural disasters…Savannah has seen it ...
