... had nothing to do really, I walked in the garden, saw the raspberry bushes, a lovely tree house, a little pond with fish, the lawn where the dogs love to play around... A little paradise!

I so much enjoyed to be part of a family, everybody around the breakfast table in the morning, the funny Corki dogs, the cat that comes to sleep on my bed, and seeing my old friend Phil after so many years.

Tomorrow I take my Amtrak train to Montreal, next visit!

Quick jaunt into Woodstock--"quick" being the operative word here. We found a supposedly dog-friendly spot online (Bringfido.com) but was told upon arrival that only service dogs were allowed. Debbie Downer. They did, however have an outdoor picnic table where the happy hour crowd usually congregates so we decided to order at the bar and dine there instead. Our food arrived and we commenced to eating until ...

... is no TV, but there is wifi, so we aren't totally unplugged. All in all, the place is lovely and we have been enjoying the fair weather & greenery these past couple days.

I had to work remotely for a couple hours yesterday while Tim did his first race, a time trial in Windham, NY. He had a slight problem getting to the race start, but ended up where he needed to be in time for his turn. I was finishing up when he returned and we decided to order takeout ...
