at least there was no jackhammer this morning but the bomb shelter toilet backed up overnight and flooded the bathroom. i had to throw on some clothes, walk down to the corner bakery and order a cup of hot tea for 1 euro so i could use their restroom. tim was alarmed by the strong methane fumes from the sewer water flooding into the place that had been accumulating all night and opened windows and doors to ventilate the ...
