Too many shops!
Time to head off and back to the airport. A short 15 minute (boiling hot) walk to the bus terminal, where I had to wait 50 minutes for the 10 seater bus to fill up before we headed off. ... trike driver and his mates were all over us trying to convince us to get a taxi. We were waivering a little when the bus pulled up. It wasn't too busy so the decision was made and on we got.
We arrived back in Cebu 3 or so hours later. We'd actually booked somewhere this time as last time was too much hassle. The ratings on Hostelworld were not particularly encouraging but it was the only place we could find uptown that didn't cost way over £10 a night.

... to go to Macton Island which is attached to Cebu City by a bridge and actually has a beach (apparently). So I woke up a little worse for wear and had to get a taxi to where the jeepneys could take me across to the island to Lapu Lapu. Got dropped off then went to ask about where to get to the beach. Had to take another jeepney down this road and got dropped off. This guy accost me and offered to show me to the beach. He took me down these alleyways ...
NBI not So Clearance
... name to be called out, only to be told that we have to come back in two weeks. Great two weeks means that we will only have three weeks before we fly to get the passport sorted out before we fly......this might be tight.....but like i say if it all goes wrong i am going anyway !!! The only alternative is to try and find her original Baptism certificate....i hope that doesnt mean a church ...
