... quick tea and watched the Pixar parade. We got to see our favourite Toy Story characters so we were pretty made up. After tea we went on the Zephyr ride, watched a New York jive band and evaluated what memorabilia to buy, before return back to the hostel to sleep.
It was a great day, it didn't wipe the cynic out of me, but it is a pretty magical place and I'm glad we got to go together to experience the Disney ...

... time! Kelsi and Jordan got a 'Wetzel' hotdog! Was meant to be a hot dog wrapped up in a pretzel! I grabbed myself a Starbuck's hot chocolate and some thing to eat. The California Adventure park has a light show after dark that takes place over a big lake - basically the lake becomes a huge fountain and images are projected onto water. The sound system and music are amazing and it is a show that's worth waiting for. ... desert mountain. The ride went through some serious rapids before ending with almost a freefall drop into an opening thorns and a huge splash. Lots of laughs and a very wet exit for us. We headed to Toon Town next to It’s a small world to visit Roger Rabbit and friends however the park was closing in preparation of the Mickey Mouse Halloween party. ... I am writing this as we fly. There is new wifi, free tv, on this plane that we can not get to work! Oh well! Susan has stocked her bag with Disney movies for the upcoming week. She is viewing Snow White to begin her fun week, "reliving" her childhood she says. Technically there is no meal on Southwest but they passed a box of snacks with our drinks, then later they pass the cookies that were not chosen on the first go around, plus we had Provence sandwiches.
