      What a glorious day to not be taking the T into work. No offense Boston, but Bethel, Maine knows what's up.

      I opened our balcony door with a hot cup of coffee in hand and took a breath of that cold, fresh Maine air. It smelled like chimney smoke and opportunity. There was a dusting of snow on the ground from the night before, fresh powder waiting for new tracks.

      Our last day in Canada shone bright and clear yet again. We threw back the curtains to reveal sun shining through burnished leaves. The night at Ile de Garde had been very comfortable and peaceful.

      We arrived downstairs for breakfast and were shown by our host to a sumptuous dining room ready for just the four of us. We highly recommend a servant if you can come by one. It's really very enjoyable.
