Excellent Campground in a very good location.

This a very maintained campground that is located on Route 1 which was the first North to South road. The rest rooms are very nice, with a nice pool and excellent WiFi. One of the best WiFi we have had in a campground.

We have a cold day today but a short one. We need to make Portland Maine so Carolyn can fly home. We stop at a state park called Battle Mountain and pay $9 entrance fee to take a 2 mile road up to the top. The view is of Penobscot Bay. It is colder on top with the wind than when we are on the bike. We are using our electric jackets to keep warm. We make a stop at the LL Bean super store for a few small purchases. The leaves started to turn in Ernest in New ...

... from the 1800’s to now.
After our trip to the museum, we concluded our outing with dinner at a local Thai restaurant off of Congress Street. By this point, we were tired and had seen enough of the busy arts scene, so we chose this restaurant because it was low key and quiet, a nice relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of Portland. We took the 9:45PM shuttle bus back to Gorham and retired for the night. It was a great night from start to ...

... to an end. It was a beautiful night to watch a game. A bit chilly outside but extremely comfortable if you wear the right cold gear. If ever hungry there is plenty of food below the bleachers. Hot dogs selling for four dollars and a small drink for $2.50. I don't believe it’s all about what in the stadium. But it was what was going on the baseball field. It was watching a game of the best game on ...

... goodies of epic proportions!

Driving through a sleepy town we suddenly noticed a food truck with a queue of what must have been between 50-80 people.

"What is this commotion?" said Paulie
"I don't know but it looks good!" I said

And so with that, we were standing in a queue for something or other and only then did Paulie ask the couple in front; "Excuse me, ...
