      ... is right on the other side, and Austria for centuries probably had eyes on expanding its empire westward.

      Through the gate, there's not much on the other side. The road starts to go downhill. There's a forest, and some guy walking his dog. I spot a path through the forest and figure maybe it will be a parallel path, so I decide to take it.
