... destination we settled for pizza (as usual eyes bigger than belly and we now have breakfast for tomorrow).

The signs to go down various side streets in Napa are not very well sign posted and as a result we missed a road thst wouldve taken us to Finch Court (where i will be living) GPS recalculated, we missed the next road, GPS recalculated again and we missed the next road again! By this time Dustin was not happy so we turned around and backtracked ...

After a 4 hour drive we arrived in sunny Napa Valley. Our hotel was beautiful with our own balcony overlooking vineyards. For an hour each evening there's free wine and cheese!! We both got so drunk Faye couldn't drive anywhere and I was not in a fit state to sit in a restaurant!! The result was Dominos pizza ordered to our room - a low point! ...

We had accumulated enough quarters in our travels to each have a decent length shower ($1 per 3min).  Then it was off to the start of the Silverado Trail to find somewhere to eat breakfast before starting the wine trail.  We found Cafe Sarafornia where we both opted for some oat pancakes with orange butter, fruit and lots of syrup.  Delicious! ... that bicycles exhacerbate one´s relationship with gravity. We were amazed at how what took us three hours to struggle up, took us literally seven minutes of knuckle-whitening-hand-cramping braking to go down. That "efficiency" and only traveling 22 miles allowed us most of the day to settle in to the Calistoga Inn and Brewery and explore the town by foot, as well as enjoy that damn bottle of wine that added a few pounds to the panniers ...
