Although it took 11 hours to get from DC to Randolph, it was A LOT better than flying since we would still be waiting for our flight today I bet. We scooted out of DC just as THE BIGGEST STORM EVER was coming in. Didn't really see much snow at all on the way up but Amtrack did cancel all northbound trains the next day.
So you know how the train goes - sway sway, choo choo, read, sleep, eat, stand up and stretch - repeat. But it was a bit surprising ...

... the best place in the world, and on our way over there from NH, we saw so many country stores.
In the factory, there are activities for the kids, so they don't get bored, and they have a field to play, and tables and stores for the adults.
I totally recommend this place.
