    ... sent. And so we hailed them on channel 16 as we approached this morning but they were busy with a mast. There were other places we could go down the creek but we yelled at the first person we saw on shore as we passed by and it was the owner- he stopped what he was doing and told us what slip to go to and came to help us dock.     ... back to beautiful river views. Our anchorage at Houghtaling Island was very pretty and we felt like we were in a jungle..... the birds were so loud and as the afternoon progressed the crickets took over. In the morning we were lucky to see a bald eagle right near our boat... after the fog lifted a little. We waited a little until it was clear before Marty pulled up the anchor.     ... very tiny, and a Groundhog at the edge of the garden who loved the fallen apples, of which there were many-no wonder it had a fat rear end..... They also have been visited by the odd bear but we didn"t see one.
