Getting to know Christ is kinda like working on a Costa Rican construction project. Even though I was raised in the church and, on some level, always loved Him, I don't think I truly know Him until recently. The town of Sarchi is famous for its arts and crafts factories. Colorful oxcarts - which are one of the country's National symbols - are being produced in Sarchi for more than a century.

Right next to the church in the town of Naranjo, we discovered a huge coffee mug, which is about 2 - 3 meters high. We walked around the church and found a small ...

... nose bats which we spied attached to tree trunks looking like a spray of black stars....all in a row. Then the howler monkeys which were great fun to watch swinging themselves through the trees and stopping to munch on the leaves which are their food. Many neat birds which I wrote down and John photographed. Also several caiman which look like logs until someone notices the eyes peering at you.....guess I won't swim in this river. Also ...
