Whoever designed the trail did an amazing job; flagstone steps through tunnels, suspension bridges over the rushing waters, and even bridges that go behind waterfalls. ... We'd read about a scenic route that followed the south shore of Lake Ontario the full length of New York, called the Sea Trail Way, so we found the point closest to Rochester and drove east for about 30 miles. Very beautiful drive, although you could only see the lake for about half of it.

... dock we departed a couple days ago. Nick and Lina are putting together a Finger Lakes road trip to include a nature preserve, Watkins Glen raceway, and several wineries. This will be a two day meander in Lina's car using the boat as a home base. We're really enjoying their visit!
