... it takes Patrick 3 hours to pack up and get ready. I prefer not riding at night or getting in too late. I think it's a major difference in our experiences on this trip. We are doing the same thing, but for different reasons. Patrick likes riding. He's really into his bike. ... our clothes together to save my quarters, and he offered to wash and dry everything tonight. I was telling him about monsoons in the desert, when suddenly his phone lit up and he started ignoring me. I was beat from the day, and annoyed, so I turned in early. He stayed up talking on the phone and drinking a 6-pack. Hopefully we can get an early start tomorrow, but that might mean leaving him again. I'm beginning to wonder why I'm still traveling with him. ... 81 I turned east on NY 12 which became much more interesting. Beautiful Cattle country. The farms were huge and so neat! Guess there were many factory farms but I also saw two Mennonite buggies so their influence was abound.
Well I am staying not too far from the U.S. Mountain Parks. I have read the roads ahead are very interesting for motorcycles. Just hope I have time to stop and take Pics :)

... slumber. Against my better judgement, I took a pillow and rested my head against the couch, knowing that I would fall asleep. And I did. When I awoke, the TV was off, the room was dark, everyone was gone, and a blanket had been put on my lap. What time was it? How long had I slept?
