We left Hvar Island after Victoria (Australian) left the boat early to catch the jet ferry to Dubrovnik. At least we thought she did, turns out she didn't buy her ticket the night before and the captain had to pull some strings to get her on board. Apparently, the captain knows the captain of the high speed ferry so it worked out OK for Victoria although the captain ...

Today we visited the old fortress in Klis, which had buildings drawing back to the first century. Apparently some Game of Throne episodes were filmed there too, so that was cool. We arrived a little earlier than the hostel reception arrived so we decided to go for a lovely ...

Laying in the tent you were more or less laying on the beach....bliss. we really recommend this small unheard of town as its got ...

So we drive around again, looking for accommodation in the heat of the day, where I am getting grumpier by the minute. We seem to have this belief that we will get the greatest accommodation wherever we want it. The rest of Europe has the same idea but they have pre booked it!!! And it is a long weekend in Croatia. Everywhere is full, hotels, apartments, Igor’s, ...
