... climbing the Starks to our hotel room. We hung around until dinner, then we went down to the Port (the waterfront), to find some food. We had dinner at this really nice restaurant, that served lots of seafood and lots of pasta! I had fresh pasta with crab. It was really good, and the waiter said I was the best at speaking Italian out of all of us (never letting them forget that!). We had desert, tiramisu, then we went back to the hotel and went to sleep. Bye!
Today we had a lie in and then went to Locri where we looked for the Ancient Greek town where the fortress was. It was amazing. We then went and got some diesel and dad got ripped off so there was a bit of arguing. We then went to the shopping outlet where we had a McDonald's and accessed the wifi. The place was full of perfumery shops, artists selling their works, icecreameries and of course the usual tourist haunts. It was pleasant and luckily the crowds were drawn it distant cousins, closer to the coast. So today I went to Renee's house and we had lunch with her parents, sister, brother-in-law, and nephew. They were all so lovely, I really enjoyed spending time with them! It was especially fun to meet her nephew, Francesco, who is 5. He very proudly showed me his room and all of his stuffed animals.
