    ... bar and ordered Vino. I can actually order beer and wine in three different languages now, I'm a multi-linguist.

    Once the rain had slowed enough we walked back to the hotel to put the feet up for a bit.

    Wandered just down the road for dinner at a nearby Ristorante.

    Off to Levanto and Cinque Terre tomorrow.

    ... Debanchi Ristoranti. Lovely anchovie and zuchini linguini for first course followed by carpaccio with tomato insalata and a glass of vino bianca.

    Stopped into a Basilica on the way back to the hotel so Cheryl could repent her sins of days past, that killed a couple of hours!

    A stroll around the Porto in the evening finishing with a refreshing gelato. Still very warm and humid.

    ... camera out for yet another photo). We stopped at a local taverna for a bite to eat and some well earned cocktails. They were going down a treat and were cheap so we stayed for a couple. On our way home from dinner we stopped off at a viewing spot to take some photos of the city at night. Apparently the best gelato shop in Genova was also up there but we skipped that.     ... how the marinara sticks to the pasta the way they tell me on the shows it's supposed to. Had an interesting desert- pears baked in a crust with pine nuts and chocolate. YUM.
