      ... for me. I get so homesick even when I have not yet left home. The tears just roll down my face and ruin my makeup. How unpleasant is that! I will miss dearly my family, especially my grandson, granddog, and all my friends.

      ... for the ride!

      Now the trip is beginning to feel real. We have waited so long for this trip as Rich and I have talked about sailing around the world for many years. Last minute preparations are still being made.

      We are leaving here on the 11th of January and our next entry will be on or around that time.

      ... to get an idea of how hard and time consuming it was. Then we took photos in front of the water wheel!! Unfortunately Sammy took a tumble on the dock at the Mayflower II and was in a foul mood so Dale had opted to stay in the car with him in the warmth.       ... and joined the Peace Corps; when I felt that my calling was to focus on giving rather than acquiring. This was too much of a sign for me to ignore--I needed to change the direction of my life.
