Is it just me or do other people get stressed packing for trips? I have been thinking of it for months, and now it's the final hours. Lists are made, suitcases out, stocked up on all my drugs (prescription!), called the airlines for seat assignments and to make sure I can carry on my CPAP and air cast and not have it count against me (broken-down loser that I am!), called the bank, Verizon, the credit card. It's a lot of work!

... at 8 am. Early flights (or early anythings) are not my thing.
So in the last month before trip the tasks are:
- Get some good walking shoes
- New lightweight jacket
- An emergency cellphone/iPad charger
- Start making packing list.
- Book the side trips and timed-entry tickets
- Finalize our itinerary
- Get house into shape as much as possible so I don't come back to a total hovel.
