... of wooden pathways that lead almost right under the American Falls. One section - called the Hurricane Deck - gets pounded by the water coming over the falls, crashing into anyone who is brave enough to stand on it. Naturally we all did, even the kids in the end. It was very brave of them, but they loved it. The force of the water, the noise and the ferocity of it took your breath away, and to be that up close and personal with such a natural wonder ...

Happy July! It is 7:30am, we have slept for four hours and it is time to beat the crowd to the Maid of the Mist. We trekked a grueling five minutes from our hotel to the park and were third in line to purchase tickets with 25 minutes to spare (lines opened at 8:30 am). Two nights and one day to conquer the legendary Niagara Falls. Arriving late on the night of September 24th allowed us only enough time to set up our tent and attempt to cook dinner at the Grand Island KOA a few miles before the falls. ... again which we find very strange seeing in all 10 years we have been in the house it never went off only when we are in Canada. Very suspicious to us as Gwen (across the door) set it off last time when manually opening the garage door. Sent Gwen an email to see what the problem is if it is caused by the storms in Perth and power failure.

... brilliant and gave us amazing views. We took an elevator to the bottom to view the gorges, which were cool. When we went back up the top we paid another visit to the visitor centre. It was here we made an error in paying to see a 40 minute video about Niagara Falls. This was a shockingly bad film and just listed fact after fact all set before 1970's graphics. It was here that we decided to leave Niagara to begin our drive to Macedonia. We stopped off on the way for a ...
