... Didn't even know there was a Detroit, TX. However there is a famous native son, John Nance Carter! Who you may ask? John Nance Carter was the VP of the USA from 1933-1941. The good thing about Paris, Texas, is that there is a self-proclaimed fine dining restaurant called Bois d'Arc, which does stand out from any place I've been since, frankly, New York. I order ...

Oh hi there!

We've entered our third month here at winter quarters in brisk Hugo, Oklahoma. We're both glad not to be fighting snow like our family and friends are up north, but believe me when I say, we're FREEZING down here all the same. We keep forgetting to bring our water hose in, so we have to wait half of the next day for it to thaw in order for us to get more water. Good times. :)
