... the front parking lot of the hotel, and not much else around for dinner, pizza sounded great! We also managed to do laundry, hopefully for the last time on this trip. We have one more stop in Texas tomorrow night, just outside of Beaumont before we head on to New Orleans for few days before heading home.

... pulled into a Walmart Neighbor Market to investigate. I have seen them advertised, but had never been to one, so we decided to check it out. Besides, we needed to gas up the car. Walmart is pretty smart in developing these "markets" in places. Most of the ones I've seen are in places where there are no other grocery's close, but the towns are not big enough for even the smallest Walmart.

Next day we walked all day, down the Champs Elyssei and found a lovely café and enjoyed lunch French style.
The highlight was "Moulan Rouge", what a show, the meal was lousy and the seating tight but the show was magnificent, bought the brochure.

Our shows today are on the rodeo grounds in Hugo, a place we never drove past over the winter. In a weird way, it feels like we’re in a new town since our immediate surroundings aren’t familiar. But lots of familiar faces around the lot made it Hugo again: Cristian’s girlfriend Bethanie and their dog, Coda, Buckner, Dominick, Dudley, Jim, and Emily, just to name a few.

... me trying it as casually slipped a chocolate creme brulee on the table, shortly followed by the chef himself (not on the table), who was keen to know what I thought of it. The chilli was a nice touch, I said, but he was quick to correct me that it was actually cayenne powder that gave it a kick. Oscar, who had been sleeping in the car, gratefully devoured my left over steak.
