Relaxing on the beach
Beach time! After getting my head stuffed full of knowledge in the various libraries of Greece
and Turkey it was off to Marmaris for some relaxation and beach time. The beach was so lovely and sandy and yet so empty. Oops... Major Mugla Mistake!

We thought everything would be A-OK now, but an hour or so into the 2.5 hours journey BACK, there began to be some ruckus aboard the bus. The bus driver appeared to deviate from his specified route to give special exits to a couple passengers. One passenger (Blue Shirt) began to pipe up, complaining, presumably about the detours.

A day at the Beach
... and not very attractive by our standards. We stayed there for a couple of hours and then back on the tour boat where they served us up fresh fish and salad which was beautiful, Brian was dry reaching with the smell (he doesn’t like fish). Then two hours back down the marshes again to the bus.

Visit to Marmaris Castle
... fives’es, a yacht pulled into the berth two up from us and it was crewed by seven Dutch women, they did a great job of backing the boat in. Soon after they were taking it in turns to shower on the back of the boat, most of them were topless!! They all seemed to be having a good time!!
Tomorrow we are going to see the Tombs at Kaunos and Turtle Beach, early start at 7.30 in the morning.
