Czeching out Cesky Krumlov
... is no moving aside for others. Lucky with my backpack on I weigh more than them so I barge on through! Oh and the climb to our b&b is also a killer even without our luggage! We were both sweating by the time we reached the place for the first time! Cesky- stepping back in time
... massive tracts of land they owned. The most spectacular item was the original golden carriage made for a 3 km journey in Rome to deliver gifts to the Pope in 1638. Guards of the gifts, driver and the horses all dressed in matching fabric attire to do justice to the carriage. A guard outfit was on display- no photos were allowed unfortunately.
