    ... sloops racing and the top racers from each class won 10 cases of beer and a trophy. Second and third prices won trophies plus 6 and 4 cases. No wonder they took these races so serious.     ... where they kept sea life. I went snorkelling one day in the bay, but all I saw was sea grass and sand. I did manage to have a stingray visit me in the afternoon while I was in the water cleaning off the bottom of the boat, and on the morning that we headed out I saw a spotted eagle ray, but did not have my camera handy. The spotted eagle rays are so rare to see, it was neat to see one.

Once I had one line on it and secured the skipper came down and added another line for safety, it's much easier to lye down an anchor but with a mooring ball you don't have to worry about the anchor alarm in the night.

    Sailing from mainland U.S.A. southwest toward Haiti, we spent the entire day on board the Allure. Ohhhh nooooo, what a grueling and horrifying experience.  Pssssh, yeah right!
