... in LA and we had a wonderful and interesting day. We started off at the origin of LA (where the Spanish settled when they first arrived there (right next to what is now China Town). We then drove through the impressive downtown district with it's skyscrapers and architecturally interesting cultural buildings. Next stop was the incredible tar pits where tar still bubbles to the surface and where there is a massive archeological project going on recovering the bone ...

... Works. Emily has seen this place online and shopped on eBay for stuff from here so both her and Ruby were very excited to be in an actual shop and spend up large. Although small and tranquil, Cabopino gets really busy, particularly at lunch times and weekends. The stunning setting, pretty harbour and exclusive yachts moored there make it a picturesque setting to sit and enjoy a delicious meal, snack or chilled drink.
With its close proximity to the major tourist resorts, Cabopino can be easily be accessed by the frequent bus service fro Marbella and Fuengirola. Parking is also easy and ...

... along number 8 lot, this was the spot. We walked in at around 9am, 1 hour early which I had planned, so we have a good chance if it's a first come first served basis. We walked into the 2nd floor of the parking lot as I had read to do and there was a large area blocked off with a Conan sign above it and a heap of bench seats and a metal detector at the entrance. There was a group of 4 guys and a family of 3 that ended up being 5 as 2 were in the toilet, already there. We sat patiently ...
