It has been a wet old day from start to finish which we think is the first time that has happened during our entire trip! Not bad eh! We left our pretty little valley camp site and headed down to Carlisle. ... to MDW. Being difficult I say nothing but eventually MDW passes it to me to sign. We depart and spend 10 minutes talking to another unsatisfied couple out the front of the "No longer the best Fish & Chip shop in the UK" Whilst in Whitby we encountered the largest seagulls we have ever seen. On Thursday we also enjoyed a visit to Durham's Oriental Museum, which contains a really nice collection of artifacts from across Asia. From Egypt to India, Japan to Borneo the museum has an extremely well presented set of artifacts.
