customs and imigration in any country is a pain. But you have to go throug it. Some countries demand you take the whole crew to imigration. And they get cranky if you dont. Others get just as cranky if you bring the crew to imigration. Bahamas doesnt want to see the crew. So we scurried back t the boat while Craig went through the beurocratic hoops. Nice change for me to ************* over.

Well, we are getting good at sittin' and waitin'. The Wind Gods are at it again. We 'stuck our noses'
out, (meaning went out on the ocean) to give it a try at getting to Chub Cay, but the seas were just bigger than we wanted to deal with. We are still in Bimini waiting.

Day 2-3: The Infamous Crossing

... us stayed up above trying to keep our balance with each wave that passed. The swells we were facing were straight out of a movie. It could've been a scene from "Deadliest Catch" except these waves weren't freezing when they hit the deck. After taking quite a bit of a beating getting out to sea, we were able to set about half the jib sail just to keep our balance so we wouldn't roll too much. It helped a bit but it was still rough.
