We left Healy early to start our 4 hour drive to church. The sky was blue and clear which allowed us to see Mt. McKinley one last time as we drove down.
The small congregation in Anchorage was very friendly and we enjoyed talking with for a while after church. We also joined them for their yearly picnic on Sunday. It was cold and rainy but the fellowship warm.
We have had a wonderful trip and have made so many memories.

The road through Denali is steep, curving, often narrow, with no guardrails or signage since only official park drivers can access it. The drive in was a pleasure since we were ...
... kept getting so dirty that you could hardly see out them. At some of the stops they had a bucket of dirty water and most of the time half broken squeegees. I am not sure if the cloud cover and rain benefitted us or not but we did see a lot of wildlife along the ride. We saw about three bears out playing around. We also saw some caribou, fox and a moose. The beauty was great even though we had low hanging clouds. After about 4 hours we did turn around and began heading ...
