... announces he is hungry, again. We open the boxed lunches to find cheese, crackers, beef jerky, black bean dip and some cookies. Not what we had been expecting and not enough to sustain us as a dinner. Nevertheless we munch on cheese and crackers. Kaeleb eats 5 pieces of beef jerky, and continues to complain that he's hungry, or rather starving the rest of the trip. ... Dall sheep. The bus driver said the wolf and hare population had been down for years and some people who worked for the park had never even seen them. The wolf we saw had just killed a caribou, and was heading up the road with a full belly. We arrived at the visitor center to light sprinkles of rain. ... on the road Miss GPS got us lost before I realised that her names of streets and the actual names of streets were different. We changed direction a few times before getting back on the highway and heading north again, this time to Chena Hot Springs. Miss GPS said it was 25 miles .... It was 56 !!! But an interesting drive it was. We noticed lots of camping areas and RV hiding spots on long the way.
Once at the Hot springs we found a lovely restaurant and had a delicious meal ...
