The beginning of the road trip- LA!

A travel blog entry by kirstyandtom

... was closed and we were told we couldn't go up to it! Now we were in Hollywood and might not ever go again so all three of us were not accepting there was no way of getting close to it. So between the three of us we made up a route to get closer by guessing, we had two other guys following us as well. At first we hiked up a pretty steep hill to get a closer glimpse and we did get a decent view. However, a kind local shouted up when we were on ...

It gave us more great views and was ...

... train- the Thor Premier was heating up. We knew it was on cause we seen them setting up this morning, but not sure if we would catch it. We were 5 rows back at the start and ended up second from the front by the time it was over! Didn't get great photos- but celeb spotting 101- hang out till it's done and then you can say- I was at the premier (across the road) and seen the red carpet walk! In Hollywood. Awesome. Great day ...
