Barcelona! The Freddie Mercury song plays in my head as we tour round this most beautiful city. Beautiful, yes, but also big. You would need to spend quite a few days here to do this place justice. There are something like 60 museums, including a chocolate museum! Even with my love of history I don't think I could get round that many! You go up in an elevator, but walk down in a verrrry narrow, circular staircase. I was very dizzy (yes, dizzy...not dizzier) when I finally made it down. I'm sure it was every ...

... are Gaudi's work....
I stayed in an apartment with a rooftop terrace (complete with a family of small geckos). The terrace over looks one of the local, well known restaurants which specializes in traditional "Catolonian" dishes (mostly seafood) called "Els Pescadors". On one of the nights I was there, the American Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps was there!
