Woken by some noisy folk heading home after an all nighter we assume. About 6.30, so got up. Foot still swollen but no problem with weight bearing. Bags out and away. Long day in bus but the countryside much nicer than previous long runs. Always interesting farmland, no animals but grapes, fruit trees and even rice. Some hills, but always great roads. I had planned tondo more sightseeing that arvo such as visit Gaudi's parc guell, oh well. Because of the traffic, we didn't get to the new hostel until 6pm so I ran into reception to check in but someone was in front of me at reception so I had to wait for them which took a while. Finally, it was my turn but the guy behind the desk took forever! ...

... and the dance of the Cardona eagle was quite similar to, although perhaps slightly less dramatic than the Ball de l’Aliga of Berga, which is the most moving part of the magnificent Patum de Berga that we will be attending for the 2nd time in June 2014.

Santa Eulalia has two correfocs that we were keen to see, a children’s one followed by an adult one, both starting from Placa de Sant Jaume. Most of the correfocs that ...
