Long line at customs to finaly see Karen, Jane and Katie. So happy to see them! Arrival at the beautiful house of Steve, Karen, Maddie and Katie in Eden Prairie, where Maddie was taking a nap after a night party with her 15 soccer team members.

... on time. We seemed set to go. However, you gotta love Minnesota for this one. Just as we were preparing to board we were informed that our plane had literally been frozen shut. Well, after a minor freak out by me thinking we'd miss our connecting flight we were gladly informed that our plane had been thawed out! Isn't that exciting. So, we left MSP about 45 minutes late. So I have 11 days left until I leave and I'm just living in my house on campus and working full-time so it feels just like summer and Rome doesn't seem like real life yet. I'll be short and to the point since there isn't much to blog about yet but I can't wait to get there and be surrounded by Italian because I feel like I'm already losing it!
    Stay classy :)
