Wednesday, July 17 We arrived in Minneapolis for lunch, a treat from Jason, Chad's cousin who recently visited the east coast on his own road trip. He lives in downtown, the hip younger hipster area of town and works at a famous seafood restaurant known for the highest deck view of the city. ... it’s in East London in an area that is not so beautiful. The mayor of London only agreed to have the Olympics in this area so it could be restored; they actually tore down 100’sj of buildings, but interestingly enough they recycled them somehow into constructing the new stadium. So, the stadium is very go green! Afterwards I went to St. James Park and walked along the pond and then went to see Buckingham Palace for the ...

Anyhoo.......back to the start of the vacation, so I fall asleep and am awakened by my tracfone at 2:30 a.m. to Ron saying they're being evacuated out of Honolulu because of a Tsunami! Yikes! So I didn't get much sleep that night and neither did he. I stayed up ...
