I Believe I Can Fly.......
So after a VERY stressful few days, I have thankfully got the all clear from the doctor this afternoon and can fly tomorrow - whoop whooop!!
Had (and still having) a bit of a stress about trying to get everything into one small backpack - this weight restriction rule is ridiculous!
Anyway just wanted to 1. Say hello and let you know we are off tomorrow and 2. Check that this even works!!

THE END OF THE ROAD
... kitchen top with two glasses ready and waiting, a fitting and appropriate end to our American adventure, thankyou. It has been six weeks 4000 or so miles across America, some slight lows but many many more highs, not a relaxing holiday as such but it has been an experience none of us will forget and one that I can quite honestly say we have thorougly enjoyed immensly. I hope you have enjoyed reading my blog as much as I have enjoyed writing it.

A visit from Canada and Canterbury

We also went to Canterbury together. It was the perfect weekend away. A small town with a relaxed atmosphere. We took the train there early on Saturday morning and spent most of our time walking all around town. We went for high tea, took a river tour, we saw the Cathedral, the castle and did some shopping. It was a great way to spend some quality time together while also taking in a small south east England town.
