Spending the 21st catching up with my best friend of 20 years and ending the 22nd with dinner with my closest friends and another trip to the airport

By the 23rd I was in Colorado to visit GoAbroad's U.S. Office for literally 48 hours

And now I finally sit back at home in Sturgis again, preparing to move my sister, her husband, and their newest addition to Grand Rapids tomorrow and celebrate my amazing mother's birthday.

... We had finished the Graham Nash audio book awhile back (16 CDs!) in South Dakota and we were now into "High Country" by Nevada Barr. Paul wasn't crazy about it, but he tolerated it through the slow parts. I like Barr's writing. She's got the voice of a mystery writer - a bit of the hard-boiled, tough-guy approach. Got up at the crack of dawn (Reno time) and explored downtown Battle Creek to find the home of Tony the Tiger. We didn't find his lair but we did find where he works, the Kellogg Institute for Food and Nutrition Research. We also found the factory where Cheerios are made, along with all the other Kellogg's products.

... and Indiana, but once we got to Michigan, we found that most of the farms were hidden behind trees and bushes. This would be a perfect place to hide a still, or grow certain questionable crops because without an airplane, you would have no idea what your neighbor does for a living.
